Travelling to the Lake District is very easy. Whether you are planning to travel to our hotel by car, train or coach, there are ample means to reach us.
Travelling by Train
Our Hotel is only half a mile from Windermere train station and, with plenty of taxis always on hand, it makes coming by train a simple and easy affair. With good local transport your holiday starts the moment you set foot into Windermere!
The best train stop is Windermere station located on the edge of the town in the Lake District National Park. There is a straight through train from Windermere to Manchester Airport.
Travelling by Coach
Coach travellers need not worry about the route, just relax sit back, you will know when you have arrived in the Lake District; the scenery will tell you. Buses stop at Windermere train station from where there are plenty of taxis available to bring you to the hotel, or, if you prefer we can arrange a taxi for you to pick you up from the station.
